On February 14, 2024, Clara and Ty welcomed a beautiful litter of Sheepadoodles. Ty (AKC Standard Poodle) was born here out of Bernie (now retired and up for adoption) and Grant (our Merle Standard Poodle). We kept Ty, a Sable/Merle (photo pending, but may include his puppy photo below with Clara's photo).

Clara has had very large litters in the past. It is a very nerve wracking time as we wait to see everyone is thriving well. We did have to intervene in the early days to supplement a few puppies to keep them going until her milk came in to accommodate all puppies. We supplemented Clara with Fenugreek to help with her milk production as well. She will be spayed within a few weeks following weaning of the puppies. This is definitely her retirement litter. She is healthy, and another breeder might keep going, but her very large litters are too risky. She is an awesome mom, but allows us limited access to her puppies during delivery and the first 24 hours. She is very protective of her babies, which is a good thing. We can always monitor her via our camera system and time spent in the nursery.

Now, we are repeating a couple of "themes" for this litter. After all, they were born on Valentine's Day, and we have a Baker's Dozen! We also have a lot of puppies, so we have split the ID names between the two themes. Yes, we've used these themes in the past, but they couldn't be more appropriate for this litter. Enjoy!
